We’ve all had mornings where we snooze our alarm one time too many and roll out of bed with less than 10 minutes to get completely ready for school. In this post, I’ll share 4 simple no heat hairstyles that anyone can do without any special tools or products. These are perfect for those busy mornings when you don’t want to put your hair in a messy bun for the third day in a row.
Whether you consistently find yourself running late or simply want to use less heat on your hair, my hope is that you walk away with some fun new hairstyles to add to your repertoire. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for upcoming posts, leave them below!
It’s not just me, right? The weekend goes by so slowly but the school week is so long! In this post, I’ll be sharing some ways to make the most of the couple of days that we have each weekend. Share the ways that you make the most of your weekend in the comments below!
School is fully underway for most of us, and whether you’re in person, homeschooling, or online, we all want to do well in school and get good grades! For some people, learning comes naturally and they don’t really need to work hard to succeed. Others (most of us!) have to work hard and do a lot of studying to get good grades. I’m one of the top students in my class but it definitely doesn’t come naturally to me!
My hope for this post is that you feel encouraged that you can do well! I’m going to share some practical tips for getting good grades and doing well in school that I hope will help you (: These are things that have helped me go from low b’s to high a’s, and while it might require some hard work, you’ll be a straight a student in no time!
Working out… honestly, does anyone really love it? I mean, I love how I feel afterwards (most of the time), and it relieves stress and benefits your body, but sometimes it’s just not fun. You feel me? Since it’s summer and most of us have a few extra minutes in our day, now’s the perfect time to get stronger and make exercise a habit.
Recently, I’ve been working out in the morning, and it’s honestly so much more enjoyable! In this post, I’ll be sharing 4 reasons working out in the morning is the best and I’ll also feature a free workout planner I made just for this post. My hope is that you feel encouraged to pick up this habit if it’s not been a priority in your life recently, and if it has, to be encouraged and keep it up.
hello frens π hope you’re having a great day so far!
today I’m kicking off a new series called “glow up weekly” where i share a different way to glow up each week. I am so excited for this series and I think you guys will love it π
I’ve seen my share of glow up checklists on pinterest (and I’m sure you have too) but what does a glow up actually mean? after looking deeper, I realized that “glowing up” can really be whatever you want. it basically just means becoming a better person, and you can achieve that in so many different ways! you can do what’s best for your body by eating clean and healthy or take a self care day to relax and rejuvenate.
glow up: a mental, physical, and emotional transformation for the better
to kick off this series, I’m sharing a long list of different things you can do to glow up. each week I’ll go through the list and go into detail on each step, sharing tips and life hacks to glow up!
also: there will be a freebie included in each post where I make the tips for that day into a printable format! you don’t have to subscribe to any lists or follow anything (though I would appreciate it if you followed my blog!) to get these freebies.
you can download this picture for free π just right click on it and click save!
today I’ll be sharing a printable checklist for your glow up and a list of all the steps we’ll be including π
just a note: girl, you are beautiful just as you are! don’t start your “glow up” with a negative mindset or thinking you need to do this to be pretty/for people to like you. do this for you, girl. a glow up doesn’t just mean trying a new makeup look – it’s a journey to a healthy, positive, and confident lifestyle.
also, feel free to skip any of the steps on the checklist or mark them off if you already have accomplished them. for example, if you already have an exercise routine, you can check that one off (just make sure you’re actually doing it, heehe). this is for you, so use it however you’d like.
here’s each of the steps this series will include:
create an exercise routine
eat healthy
plan your life/get organized
have a self care day
drink more water
declutter/organize your space
be confident in who you are
journal
get more sleep
stick to a skincare routine
curate your playlists
unfollow negative social media accounts
have a positive outlook on life
take care of your hair
today’s freebie:
today I’m sharing a (super cute, but I might be a bit biased) checklist that you can print off and hang up in your room during this series. there’s also a little notes section where you can add in your own items, journal about your progress, make a shopping list, notes as you read through each post, and really whatever floats your boat! I will be using this checklist throughout the challenge as well and think it will be really helpful π
save to your device and print this out!
I also made the checklist downloadable as a pdf file if you’d like to print it that way!
if you skimmed this post: we’re starting a glow up challenge! every week we’ll focus on something different (posts will be coming out every wednesday) and we can check off each box together!
I’m also thinking about going live once or twice during this challenge over on instagram (@christinaandcamera) to chat with you guys, answer questions, etc. let me know if you would join that π
are you excited for this series? I am so pumped to see how it goes and glow up with you guys π
comment below if you’re doing this challenge! π
hey guys! today I wanted to share some ways to motivate yourself to exercise because it’s not always easy but there are so many benefits! pushing yourself even when it’s hard might not be easy or fun, but in the long run, you’ll be so glad you did.
hey guys! I’ve been trying to eat breakfast more often these days since I have more time in the mornings and these are some of the things I’ve tried that are yummy and healthy but also super simple! I put a time estimate for each of them in case you need to know how much time it would take, but they all should be pretty easy/quick.
hey y’all!! since everyone is doing online school now I thought I’d give you guys some tips since I did online school for for 3 years and learned a TON of helpful info. so bookmark this post because you will use it β€
If youβre considering reading your bible cover to cover in a year (but have a lot of excuses) let me assure you that it CAN be done and, honestly, if you read just a little bit every day IT WILL!!Β
