WHAT I LEARNED FROM TAKING A LADYBOSSBLOGGER COURSE (+ discount code)

I’ve been blogging for over 4 years (which is CRAZY… my brand & style has come a longg way from the beginning lol) but I feel like I still have soo much to learn about creating content. It can feel overwhelming because there are so many different resources out there – but I don’t want to spend money or time on something that won’t actually work. Recently I’ve been wanting to take a step forward with my blog because I feel like I’ve almost been in a plateau for the last year/few months.

That’s where LadyBossBlogger comes in! I had heard about their courses before so when I had the opportunity to collaborate with them and take the Grow Christian Blog course I was really excited! To be honest, in the back of my mind, I thought “maybe this will be like the other stuff about blogging I’ve heard over and over… be patient, connect with other blogs, etc”. That’s where I was wrong. I learned so many new things that I had never heard before that I can’t wait to share with you guys!

SIMPLE WAYS TO INCORPORATE SELF CARE INTO YOUR DAILY ROUTINE | COLLAB WITH THE BLOGGER SQUAD

Self care can seem overwhelming and hard to incorporate into our busy daily routines, but that’s not true. In this post, I’ll share several simple ways to incorporate self care into your daily routine that aren’t hard or complicated and don’t require extra time and money.

MY WINTER ESSENTIALS | COLLAB WITH AINSLEY

Beanies are so cute and they’re perfect for when your hair is greasy or you’re having a bad hair day hahaha.

cozy sweatpants

Sweatpants are one of my favorite things in my closet!! They’re so cozy and soft and perfect for days when you want to feel like you’re in bed all day.

fuzzy socks

Gotta keep your feet warm too! These are so cute and I wear fuzzy socks all the time so they’re definitely one of my essentials for the winter season.

oversized sweater

I love an oversized sweater because you can just throw it on to warm an outfit up or add something fun to it. Plus it’s super comfy and soft and can even make sweatpants look put together.

Perfect to curl up with while you hold a mug of hot chocolate and watch a christmas movie. I absolutely love these blankets and they’re one of my essentials year round if I’m honest.

carmex

If you go buy only one thing on this list, buy some carmex!! Your lips will thank you, I promise. I don’t know about you, but my lips get so chapped in the winter weather and I hate it. Carmex is super cheap but it works so well and I put it on every single morning. You can keep it in your backpack, purse, makeup bag, literally anywhere!

I had to add this because if you know me or have read my blog for a long time you know I absolutely love coffee any time of the year. Iced coffee is literally my bestie I’m literally craving some right now (but it’s 7 pm sooo probably shouldn’t have it hahaha).

WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS | COLLAB WITH ARA

Now that thanksgiving is over, it’s time for Christmas! I’m so excited lol. I’ll be doing a bunch of different themed gift guides this month but first I’m sharing what I want for Christmas. Obviously I won’t get all this, but it’s still fun to dream 🙂

My days are usually pretty busy and I don’t spend a ton of time blogging during the week (I write a lot of posts on saturdays – i’m writing this on a saturday in fact haha) but I’m going to share a typical school day in the life for me. My school is in person which I love but it also means I have to wake up early 😦 This will be super real/a totally normal day!

Something Pretty

I took photos of my sister for her second birthday last week, and this is one of my favorites! I’m planning on sharing more for my August Review post. I think that E looks so cute is this picture, and her eyes are entrancing. Her expression is solemn but silly, which I think is lovely. I also like this photo because E is the spotlight. Not her outfit or the background, her face!

Random Thing

I chose this picture because I love the closeup of C’s eye. Also, I like how you can see our tent, rental car, and me shoving the camera in his face (this was taken while camping), lol. It’s not the best shot but I love the detail.

My Favorite Shoes

I attempted a new style of photography the other day. I don’t like it very much, but I decided to keep this picture because it fully shoes my favorite pair of shoes. I have 4 pairs of shoes, so this was hard since I use all of them quite often, but these are awesome. They work well for hiking, walking, and I even wore them to church a couple times. They are my only sandals right now, which I’m fine with. I also really like the coloring because they go with everything!

I love to play volleyball, snorkel, and surf.

On TPS (we both do it).

What inspired you to have a blog?

I really wanted to share my dolls with people.

In which two homeschooled bloggers collab

Recently, Ariana and I found out that we go to the same school: VSA!! (Veritas Press Academy in case you didn’t know)

So, we decided to do a home/online school collab.

My answers will be in this color, and Ariana’s will be in this color.

Have you been homeschooled all your life?
Nope! My mom taught me to read when I was 3, and she taught me for 1st grade. Then, long story short, we had a family crisis, so I went to school for the 2-4th grades. I’ve been homeschooled for the last few years though.

Yes! Till the day I die. (Song reference), lol. But, yes, I have. 😃

 

What is your favorite thing about homeschooling?
I definitely agree with Ariana’s answer. So true!! I also love the flexibility and added family time.

Hum…in homeschooling I am taught how to think, not what to think. Some schools just teach for test, not for life.

 

What is your favorite subject?
#Omnialltheway I think it’s safe to say that I’m an Omnibus fan… LOL!

Do you play an instrument? If not, do you want to?
I do play an instrument… piano! I’ve been doing it for 6 years now?

I am learning to play the guitar.  It is really fun!

 

Are there times when you don’t want to be homeschooled?
Sometimes… when I go into my emotional girl moments… XD! But overall, no! I love being homeschooled.

Hum…no, not really.

 

Do you do a co-op?
Not unless you count VSA.

No idea what is, so no.

 

Is your mom your only teacher?
Nope! I have 6 teachers besides her.

No, I do VSA.
