You love music- Yes, I do!

You are easy to get along with- I hope so! haha

You are really short- tbh I don’t know if this is true. I’m 5 foot 3 right now so I guess I’m short 🙂
You aren’t good at science- Well, it depends. I have a 98/100 in science right now, but I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite subject. This year is my first year with the Apologia curriculum and I love it 😍. Haha. This is the first year I’ve enjoyed science!
You’ve been doing photography for three years- *calculates* yes, I have 🙂
You love blue/purple- I guess! I like those colors, but I wouldn’t say that they are my absolute favorites 🙂
You don’t wear jewelry much– ehh. I mean, I don’t really have much jewelry, so this is true. If I had more that I liked/was comfortable I would probably wear it more often!
You love swirly writing- I do! But I don’t like it to be overpowering 🙂
You have cute writing- I guess so. I’m working on improving it, so tbh idk.

You like horses.- Yes, I do!

You wear contacts.- I do wear contacts!

You like taking pictures of Emily- how would you know this? jk I know pretty much every single one of my photography posts is about Emily 😛

You wear glasses– yes! I actually wear contacts during the day, but I do wear glasses.

 You’ve been to other countries besides the U.S.- Actually, no! I’ve never been outside of the U.S. (Alaska and Hawaii, but they are part of the USA :P)

You are a tea gal, not coffee- true! I’m not a coffee girl at all 🙂

You are a music nerd– kinda! Depends on what you mean, haha. I like music, but I’m not super up-to-date on releases and stuff.

You really like horses and dogs! – I do!

You’re really good with little kids- I think I am… little kids are the best 😛
You love light colors- Yes. My favorite color is LIGHT!! Light pastels 😍
You really like flowers– Yes, I love flowers! They are a great example of God’s wonderful creation 😉

You’re good on computers– I know (and can figure out) how to do/work almost anything but pretty much anyone can do that. That’s what YouTube was invented for, amiright?

You’re a morning person- I used to be a night person for sure, but a couple weeks of waking up early made me a morning person! 😁
You do a lot of exercise- I mean, yes, but I should do more, haha!

You listen to country music- yes! I do! How do you know me so well?

Reveiw of Design Pique Studios+New Blog Design!

Hey guys! As you probably know, Mukta recently redesigned my blog. If you haven’t  seen it yet because you’ve been reading my posts in your reader or your email or not at all, then come see it! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Mukta took my hard to understand vision and made it into the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.

Review Of Design Pique Studios

Design Pique Studios is Mukta’s professional unprofessional business (you’ll see what I mean in a moment).

One thing you must know about Design Pique Studios is that it is an unprofessional business that designs professionally. Mukta’s business is free, but her designs are professional. This may make you think twice, but when you see the designs she’s done (she does book covers too), you’ll fall in love with her company.

Design Pique Studios has designed plenty of blogs and book covers, so naturally, Mukta is very busy. However, she was very kind (even when I disturbed her on vacation… twice) and always found time for our emails. We were able to get the design completed in less than two weeks.

Overall: I love Design Pique Studios and recommend it to you, whoever you are :). It’s very professional, not pricey at all, and easy to do. She makes the process so simple and easy and I really do recommend her.

How long have you been blogging? (also, can you send a link to your blog in the answer?)

I’ve been blogging over at my personal blog, Born Free for four years now! (I know right, sounds like forever 😉 )

 

What are your goals for your blog and business?

For my blog, well, my dreams are like anyone else’s. To meet and get to know people who share my interests, and to hope that every step I take is towards improvement. As for my business, it began as an experience for my working in the design field, and by far it has proved to be worth every minute I spend in it.

 

What are some interesting facts about yourself?

Well, I am an excessive sweater no matter what time of the year. I am an INFP-T and a somewhat fitness freak. 😛 I can officially not dance if my life depended on it, haha. AND I have both sleepwalked and sleeptalked on some long-gone day in my life, I trust.

 

How did you first get into blogging? 

It began with my dad, actually. I had no idea what a blog was, and my dad started it to post some of my early writings and such, but now it is taken over by me completely and am glad it is so.

 

How would you describe your blogging style?

I would say… all over the place? It doesn’t have a fixed theme, really, so I post anything that I enjoy. The whole purpose of my blog revolves around the idea of preserving what I enjoy, so to say. J

 

What are some tips for beginning bloggers?

Well, I certainly would say that it takes time to get in the groove. Rocky days are normal, not feeling motivated is normal, so if you want to be a blogger, you’ll have to be up for all of it.

 

What is your favorite design tip?

Well, my work motto (the one I just made up a moment ago) is ‘When all else fails, clipping masks are your saviour’. And seriously, if you’re having trouble designing your blog, take it easy- find a font you like, find a texture you like, put the texture on. That works magic, trust me. 😉

Whoops//Changes coming up

Hey guys!

First of all, So sorry that I haven’t posted in OVER A MONTH! Seriously, that’s awful! There are a couple changes coming up on the blog, just wanted to let y’all know.

1. Mutka (https://designpiquestudios.com/) is redesigning my blog! She’s amazing and so easy to work with. I can’t wait to get the new design up. Not sure when we’ll be done, hopefully in the next couple weeks or so.
2. IDENTITY CRISIS!! Ahh! Okay, I exaggerated a little bit, but I’m not super sure what you guys want to see C & C (my little nickname for this blog) become. That is one of the reasons that I haven’t posted in a while; I’ve had ideas, but I haven’t been sure of what Y’all want to see.

Books I’m reading: Do you guys want to see what I’m reading? Not sure if that would appeal to you, but it wouldn’t be too hard to post; I’ve been reading a LOT lately.

Wow! It’s taken a while to get here! XD

Sadly, I don’t have photos from the summer, but here are some highlights:

Summer Diaries: I didn’t finish Ava’s diary, but you can check out all of the completed summer diaries here.

I got nominated! I don’t think many of you have seen this post, because so far, only two of the 11 people I selected did it. So… it’s a free for all! Check out the post here, because only 9 people get a chance to do it. Just because it’s free for all doesn’t mean we can exceed the limit of people.

Emma joins the family: This is most definitly a big thing. Emma is such a cutie and I’m so glad that she got to join us this summer. I know it’s October, y’all! But technically, Fall just started two weeks ago, so… Anyways, if you want to see a picture of beautiful Emma, check the post out here.

I am so, so excited to share with you Christina and Camera. The site is still under construction. Hence the horrible orange site under construction graphic. XD

I have tons of posts planned, and I have another huge surprise for you guys! To celebrate 20 followers, I’m also presenting… The Camera Club. Of course, you don’t have to have a camera to sign up, but since this is Christina and Camera…. It’s the camera club. Basically, the Camera Club will have a sign up form in this post and one on the sidebar. (If I can figure out how.) Anyone can sign up, though you do need to have an email. Those who sign up will get the password to The Camera Club Page, and there we can chat and have fun! I will post contests and other exclusive things to members of the camera club. And here’s another rule. I would really prefer it if you were a follower of me, but I don’t want to exclude anyone, so if you aren’t a follower, you can join. Though, I request that if you are a member of the camera club, you follow me, though it’s not required. 🙂 Hope that wasn’t TOO hard to understand.

6 months of blogging: HUGE SURPRISE!!!

On March 31, 2017, I clicked the ‘create blog’ button on blogger. My blog was held on blogger for 2 months, but then I switched to WordPress. I have seen people on blogger with Bee-u-tiful blogs! But for a new blogger, WordPress is much easier to use. I’ve met so many friends throughout my 6 months of blogging. And I have 20 followers!! It might not seem like a lot, but for me, it is! I am so grateful to those people who put an encouraging comment, liked one of my posts, and followed!

So yeah…. I have a surprise!

Crafting a Doll Spa Basket

Hey guys! Sorry if these images are bad quality, I’m still learning  how to take good photos. If y’all have any tips, PLEASE SHARE. Or a link to the blog post, or someone else who shared how- anything would be awesome! Anyway, I’ve just been really enjoying taking photos and feeling an inspiration to blog a ton lately, so hopefully I’ll be able to do that more. Also, if you guys have any post requests (I  have lots of ideas, but I want you guys to see things you like on here.)

So, since poor Hannah died, just take a minute to cry with me here. 

I got something.

Look at the web page name, not the reborns. (I used to love reborns and drool over them but i never bought them) 

Y’know, web page name? 14 inch Curly Hair Brown eyes?

But, in preparation for Elaine? Evelyn? What should I name her? Something that starts with E This unknown thing. Maybe it’s a 14 inch drawing of something with curly hair and brown eyes. No? WAHH I HAVE NOT SUCCEED IN KEEPING HER A SECRET\

Ahem. Moving on.

No, I’m serious!!!

So first, you’ll gather everything you’ll be putting in.

You’ll need a container to put it in. I used a round plastic container. 

I also grabbed a baby washcloth to use as a mini towel. You should be able to find it. Also a small bath washcloth would work.

I folded it and put it in the basket.

The next thing I grabbed was a small brush thing. Like a big scrubber for the dolls?

That fit nicely in front of the washcloth.

I also had a mini travel toothbrush (unused) and a mini toothpaste as well. These you will probably get at your local dentist/orthodontist, so I’m sure you have some around.

I put a small baby comb in there as well as some hairbands/doll headbands.

I added a mini floss thing (behind the pocketbac), a mini hand sanitize, and a chap stick thing.
