ENERGY GIVERS VS. ENERGY DRAINERS

happy monday besties!! today we’re going to be talking all about the difference between energy givers and energy drainers and how to apply this concept to your life. there’s also a freebie at the end of the post so make sure you check that out :))

The concept of energy givers and energy drainers is so important and helpful once you apply it to your life!! Knowing the things that drain you vs. give you energy is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

little reminder: everyone is different so it’s totally okay if something that drains someone else brings you energy! that’s why it’s so important to identify them for yourself – everyone has totally different personalities

An energy drainer is something that drains you physically, mentally, and emotionally. These things weigh you down and drain your energy & resources. Try to eliminate these activities from your daily routines.

ex. negativity, spending too much time on your phone, eating junk food for every meal

An energy giver is the opposite! These things renew & refresh you and replenish the energy/resources that energy drainers use up. Try to make these activities a priority in your daily life!

ex. gratitude journaling, getting enough sleep consistently, spending time in the sunshine

Honestly these are so simple but they make such a difference in your life when you apply them in little ways throughout your day. My challenge for you today is to download the freebie at the end of this post (or grab a blank piece of paper) and identify + write down the energy drainers & givers in your life. Keep this somewhere where you can see it every day and it will change your life lol!!

what gives you energy/joy? what drains you? let’s chat in the comments below <33 xo christina
