When this is posted, there will be 3 days until 2021, which is crazy. This year has been different than anything any of us have ever experienced, but there have also been many good memories that we’ve made. Today I just wanted to recap the year :))

highlights of 2020

  • at the end of last year, christina and camera had 280 followers… as of today (december 22) we have 598!! I didn’t realize we were so close to 600 ๐Ÿ˜ญ I love all of you all so much and I am so thankful for the community we’ve grown here. I have so many fun plans for 2021 and I’m so hopeful for the future of this blog โค updating this post on christmas eve and we now have 601!! thank you all so much!!
  • taylor swift released two albums this year and I’m not okay!! I loved folklore but evermore has to be my favorite. my favorite song is champagne problems which is about rejecting a proposal (kinda funny because I’ve never been in a relationship??) also if you listen to it you might want to listen to the clean version since a couple songs have curse words in them :))
  • I posted a ton of fun posts that I’m proud of… the top 10 will be linked below if you want to check them out!
  • now that I’m sitting down to write this I literally can’t remember anything about this year so I’m going to do a little monthly summary thing for each month haha
    • january – pretty chill, covid wasn’t really a thing yet, nothing exciting really happened
    • february – pretty much the same as january, mainly just school and boring stuff
    • march – an insane month for everyone! halfway through spring break everything shut down and we got an extra week of break
    • april – the month of zoom, online school, lots of baking, chloe ting (iykyk). this is the month that quarantine was actually fun lol
    • may – everyone was pretty much sick of covid at this point! school ended and I spent a few days with my cousins
    • june – pretty chill I guess, I did a ton of running this month and didn’t really do anything exciting
    • july – more running, I went and visited my cousins again which was fun
    • august – school started! my school is small so we’re fully in person even though things were pretty different
    • september – my birthday!! I worked out a ton this month & really made it a priority/habit yayyy (and it still is!!), also most of my most popular posts are from this month so I guess I did something right lol??
    • october – pretty boring, started getting sick of school ig
    • november – my brother got covid (thankfully mild/no symptoms) so my whole family had to quarantine at home for 2 weeks! also thanksgiving break which we spent with family (after we were out of quarantine don’t worry)
    • december – taylor blessed us with evermore, christmas break started a few days early because our finals got canceled (thank God!!), we moved rooms around so I have my own room now (in case you didn’t know, I used to share with my 4 year old sister)

  1. Great recap! I’m new to your blog but it sounds like this blog had a great year!
Growth is definitely exponential. At the beginning of 2019, I had 5 followers. Then, at the beginning of 2020, I had 80. Now, I have 218!
And yes! Finally someone who prefers evermore to folklore! I wasn’t really a fan of folklore, but I loved evermore. IDK why.
