It’s not just me, right? The weekend goes by so slowly but the school week is so long! In this post, I’ll be sharing some ways to make the most of the couple of days that we have each weekend. Share the ways that you make the most of your weekend in the comments below!

start your weekend with a workout
I know what you’re thinking, but starting off your weekend with a workout will actually make you feel so productive and fill your weekend with those healthy girl vibes we all long for. Even if it’s only 10 minutes, this is essential for making the most of your weekend!
turn off your phone
We spend so much time on our phones (and all our devices) and this makes the weekend feel so much shorter. Read my post on limiting the time you spend on screens here or just power off your phone for the weekend. I know it’s a scary thought to be without your phone, but here’s the truth – you’ll be fine! You can do without it and you’ll feel amazing.

do something fun
It’s so easy to just sit on the couch all day but make some plans with a friend! Go out and do something fun. Some ideas: go to the park or on a walk with a friend, go thrifting, find a movie you want to see (most theatres are opened back up!!), or go get some ice cream!
get some stuff done
I knowwww but even if it’s only a couple of things this will make your weekend feel so productive! Pick up your room/bathroom and do some laundry and you got something done ๐ this is pretty simple and you don’t have to do anything crazy!

get outside
this will make you feel so good! Go to the beach or really anywhere. Head to a local park, go for a walk, basically just get off the couch and head outside.
get to bed early (andddd wake up earlier too)
This one really depends on you, but I always feel so much better when I get to bed earlier (pretty much anytime before 12 pm haha) and wake up early too (like before noon!). When you sleep in super late you lose like half the day, so set your alarm for 9 or 10 am instead.

Love these ideas!! I actually do workout! I go on weekly bike rides every week with my family so itโs fun and itโs good for exercise!!

I love how realistic this is Christina!! Especially about sleeping in!!! So many people say theyโre sleeping in but wake up at 7, like GIRL STOP IT!๐ Anyway, this is so helpful! I bet Iโll have he best weekend ever now๐

Loved this! Super realistic/relatable ๐ for my weekend I try and balance between chores/reading/doing something I love/skin care/walking/Netflix. All good for the soul ๐

I totally agree with the above comments! I had the same thoughts reading this. Nobody wants to wake up super early at six or seven am, but nine or ten is so much more realistic! I went for a lovely picnic at my local park. We had the best spread and I listened to such great music as well.
