hey frens! I am loving this fun series and I hope you are too π today I’m going to be talking about self care and having a self care day. read on for freebies and tips that you can incorporate into your life!

setting aside a self care is a great time to relax, rejuvenate, and ease stress. I would highly recommend it! you can use it as a time to pamper yourself, work on hobby’s you enjoy but haven’t had a lot of time for, or destress and relax with nothing to do.
first you’ll need to set aside a day for self care. since it’s summer it’ll probably be easy since most of us don’t have a ton of commitments! once you decide the day, you’ll need to decide what to do. I wrote a list of ideas – select what you want to include!
β mani/pedi
β watch a favorite movie
β curl up with a book
β light a candle
β make tea/coffee
β face mask
β shower and shave
β go for a walk or bike ride
β do some yoga/stretching
β bake something yummy
β listen to a new podcast
β try a new makeup look
β clean your room
β journal about anything!
β catch up on all your favorite blogs and youtube channels
β delete social media for the day
β go to a new coffee shop or cafe and order something fun
β drink lots of water
β take a long, warm shower (and put a few drops of essential oil in before you start the water for a spa like feeling)
β take care of your skin/do your skincare routine
β write a list of things you’re thankful for
β call a family member or friend and tell them you love them
obviously these are just ideas and you can include whatever you want!

Yes for self-care!!! π Quarantine had given me more time for self-care, and one of my favorites is journaling and meditation.
