award/tag compilation

hey guys! hope you’re having a great wednesday ๐Ÿ’› today I’m sharing an ย award ย I’ve gotten a couple times recently! please do it and send me a link in the comments!

the blogger recognition award (nominated by the girl typewriter and hope lelani! I love both your blogs ๐Ÿ’›)

award rules:

1. Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
2. Write a post to show your award.
3. Give a brief story of how your blog started.
4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
5. Select up to fifteen bloggers you want to give this award to.
6. Comment (or ping-back) on each blog to let them know that youโ€™ve nominated them and provide a link to the post youโ€™ve created.

how my blog started: I started blogging when I was around 11 I think with a doll blog (spoiler alert: I think 1 person read it ngl) on blogspot and then moved over to wordpress after 2 or 3 months. my early posts (they’re still on this blog… and they’re actually pretty fun to read since I was soo littleee!) anyway then I changed to christina and camera (it was actually originally going to be christina and her camera but I’m so glad I didn’t go through with that) after about 6 months or so! From then I’ve obviously grown and changed a ton but blogging has been super awarding.

advice to new bloggers:ย my tips are honestly super simple and you’ve probably heard them before but they are: first of all interact with other bloggers! I’m not saying search random bloggers and comment “follow for follow?” on their most recent post BUT find bloggers with similar niches to you or that you like and interact with their posts. obviously don’t copy their content but you can see what works for them and try to use it on your blog! plus interacting with other bloggers kinda brings you into a community and that is one of the best things you can do as a new blogger. my other tip is to be consistent. consistent with when and what you post! for me I really post a variety of things (lifestyle blogger) but my audience is teenage/young twenties maybe girls. so have content that will appeal to a certain audience (usually that’s what you are… I’m a teen girl so I couldn’t really write posts that would help middle aged men lol) and try and have a consistent posting schedule… it might be once a week or even once every two weeks (I would recommend starting with once a week!) and maybe on the same day too. I love scheduling posts because then I can write them early and my posts can always be at the same time! anyways that was long but hopefully it helped any new bloggers ๐Ÿ’›

bloggers to give this award to: YOU! I feel like I always tag the same people for these awards (and I feel bad because then I’m like pestering them and I also don’t know who likes doing awards and tags lol) so if you are reading this you are officially nominated!! link your post if you do it please because I would love to read it.

I hope you have a great day, guys!! you can always shoot me and email or dm me (I’ll respond as soon as I can) at christina.raquel.snyder@gmail.com and @christinaandcamera on instagram if you have anything you want to talk about! obviously I’m bored lol ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿ’› have a lovely day, christina
