such a time as this//verses about fear

esther 4:14 – for if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. and who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

our world is kinda crazy right now. just a little. (who am I kidding, school’s cancelled for a month, there’s no toilet paper in stores, colleges are closed for the last semester, and basically our whole country – our whole world – is on lockdown). I read this verse and instantly thought of our country right now.

we are here for such a time as this. we all have a unique situation that we have been placed in for a reason during this time!

not my picture but I saw it on instagram and thought it was amazing!

^ do not miss this chance for wordwide revival!

everyone’s situation is different but there are lots of things you can do during this time like

  • getting groceries for an elderly neighbor/someone who can’t leave their house
  • offer to watch kids for a single parent (or anyone really!) so they can work (obviously do this with caution as you wouldn’t want to spread or get sickness!)
  • you could leave games/activities/toys for kids on their porch for them to do since they’re home all day!
  • check on your neighbors and ask if there’s anything they need. the gesture will mean so much to them!

verses about fear and trusting god:

Isaiah 41: 9-10 – you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners saying to you, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off”; fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Philippians 4:6-7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

John 14:27 – Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

Isaiah 43:1 – But now, this is what the Lord says…Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

Romans 8:38-39 – And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

Zephaniah 3:17 – The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

Psalm 28:7 – The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

❤ love, christina
