50 things You Might not Know about Me

You know when someone new comes to youth group or something and everyone has to say 3 facts about themselves? I’m really bad at that. So… this is going to be very hard! You might know some of these already 😂

note : I wore this post a few months ago so some details (like Courtney is already born and I already started playing violin… haha) might not be correct lol

1. I play the piano (and hope to begin the violin soon – we’ll see!) I started to play violin this august, actually!
2. I have three younger siblings (soon to be four – I’m so excited!) Courtney is here, and I have 4 younger sibs now!!
3. I love to plan every detail of everything, but when the time comes I rarely follow my plan as much as I’d like.
4. I read really fast.
5. I’m the same height as my mom (5’2) actually, I’m taller! #5’4 #but Im still short
6. I’m an online student (specifically, The Potter’s School and Veritas Press Scholar’s Academy) actually, not anymore! I go to a private christian school
7. I want to teach elementary school or high school science.
8. I’m learning Spanish, and I hope to be fluent someday (I doubt that will happen, though!)
9. I love pretty notebooks, but when I buy them, I never use them – I save them “for something really special” but never end up finding that super-special thing to use them for 😂
10. I have two cousins that are almost exactly my age – one is 6 months older and the other is 2 months younger! They’re both girls too, which is really fun.
11. My favorite color is either mint green or blush pink… which is oddly specific lol
12. My hair’s not that long (probably between 15-18 inches, but I’m just guessing) but it’s really thick.
13. I once tried to write my own manuscript of every book I owned (I was eight). That didn’t go very well… I got about one page in. (it was probably illegal, though 😂)
14. I love graphic design, but I’m not very techy. Two words: youtube tutorials!
15. I hate all seafood (but I’ll eat it to be polite sometimes)
16. I have about a million favorite foods, and my current “most-favorite” changes about every week.
17. My dad bought the wallet I currently use for me when I was three (it’s pretty torn up, though!)
18. I’ve lived in three different states – Alabama, Alaska, and now Florida!
19. I’ve lived in six different houses.
20. One time I grew some sort of… thing in my room – I mixed baby soap, perfume, lemonade mix powder, sugar, and some other weird things and left it for two months. It smelled DISGUSTING and looked even grosser. 😂 (I was six years old, okay?)
21. I cut my own bangs at age six, but I followed a tutorial I found in a book (well, not really, it was little house on the prairie and laura cut her hair, haha) t that everyone with glasses and braces does, but I sure did!)
22. I’ve been wearing contacts for about a year, and I love them. 😍
23. I have olive/fair skin, dark brown eyes and really dark brown hair.
24. Some of the jobs I’ve wanted to have: librarian, dancer (I’m not flexible at all though!), realtor, interior designer, small business owner, artist (I can’t draw, though?), and a million other things.
25. I’m pretty much a “second mommy” to Emily, and I will be to my newest sibling as well!
26. I’m the kind of person who likes to read a book while I eat (which I guess is weird, but not to me 😂)
27. Trying to think of 50 things about me is really hard…
28. I’ve blogged for two years now (as of march 31st, actually!) and I’ve changed names once (it used to be a doll blog called “dolls by the dozen”
29. I love to cook and bake, but I like to bake more (I think!) even though I love cooking 🙂
30. I got rid of all my dolls (I don’t remember who I gave them to), but if you read my old posts… you’d understand why. (They were really beat up lol)
31. I love to think of goals, but most of them are hard to achieve.
32. I re-organize my (well, Emily’s and mine!) closet pretty much every week, but I’ve never really loved a system I’ve had! 😂
33. I always have a huge list of books to read.
34. Last year, I read over 300 books! (it’s not on Goodreads though)
35. I love to bible journal, even though my art/hand-lettering isn’t anything special.
36. I have several friends, but not really a best friend… I don’t really know lol
37. I got my ears pierced when I was 11, but I don’t wear earrings that often. I got some new ones and now I wear them all the time.
38. When I’m stressed, cleaning or organizing helps a lot!
39. When I have money, I look for something to spend it on, but when I actually need/want anything, I don’t buy it without “pondering” it for a long time.
40. I LOVE to pack.
41. I didn’t learn to swim until I was 9-10 years old.
42. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels when I was 8.
43. I love tea SO much!
44. My favorite stuffed animal when I was a baby was a pink kitty that I called… kitty. (SO original, right?)
45. I like candy okay, but chocolate is my favorite!
46. I’m not flexible AT ALL.
47. I want to graduate high school early, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to.

That was hard but also really fun! These are pretty random but hopefully you learned a little more about me 🙂
