March was a great month for me! I officially launched Christina’s Convos (my podcast about blogging and completed most of my goals! Let’s get started πŸ™‚

Overall, March was a good month.Β  My goals were:

p e r s o n a l

  1. Make $90-Β I didn’t have any way to track this… but I’m also pretty sure that this didn’t happen. I was confident about this because of my success in February, but this month didn’t so well in this respect. That’s okay, though πŸ™‚Β
  2. Read through 1st Samuel-Β Yes! I did this and finished on the first of the month.Β πŸ˜‚Β
  3. Make/Keep a prayer journal– Kinda? I did this for about four days… πŸ˜‚Β I would say that this is a failure!
  4. Journal daily-Β Agh I was so close! I didn’t do it for a week near the end of the month (aka now) but I did it for 21 consecutive days! Pretty annoyed about this one, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to do it πŸ˜‚Β (also sorry for using this emoji WAY too much)Β

  1. Finish Omnibus Secondary Selfpaced– yes! I finished on the 8th! I was so excited… but also really disappointedΒ  because it was the only class I 100% loved 😦
  2. Keep a practice log for Piano- Yay! I did this too πŸ™‚ Although I pretty much just did it 3 days at a time… (the logging, not the practicing)
  3. Practice Spanish every day- no 😦 I was going strong for a while but weekends were harder. Honestly, I practiced Spanish daily but I was counting only Duolingo. The only days I missed were Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and towards the end of the month I just… quit. Whoops.

  1. Blog every Monday and Friday (9 times)– Yes! I did this πŸ™‚ Of course, all with the help of my trusty WordPress scheduler. What would I do without you?
  2. Send out emails on Thursdays 4 times- Yay! I did this too. Probably the first time in the history of C & C that I actually did soo yay πŸ˜‚πŸŽ‰

p e r s o n a l

  1. Make $50-Β Significantly lower than last month. But I still kinda doubt I can do it… I’ll probably earn around $30 which is low but that’s okay!
  2. Read through 2nd Chronicles– To keep track with my “read the bible in 2019 plan”, I need to this. Again, pretty confident! Especially since I’m in 1st Chronicles right now πŸ™‚
  3. Workout/Run/Yoga daily– I really need to do some sort of exercise daily so I’m putting this down. I doubt I will do it (guys I’m such a desk potato- like I don’t sit on the couch I just sit at my desk πŸ˜‚)
  4. Drink moreΒ water– I feel like every time I drink water, I feel sick. xD I know it’s not true though… but I really do not drink enough water. I probably only drink 16 ounces a dayΒ on a good day and I’m supposed to drink 64. So this is really important!
  5. Do Camp NaNo-Β I signed up for Camp NaNo like last week but I’m really excited πŸ™‚ I’m also starting a whole new story (like I have not developed ONE character and I have no idea what’s going to happen) soo pray for me guys. (I mean, jk, but please actually do πŸ˜‚)

  1. Keep a Practice Log for piano– This month, that’s my habit tracker πŸ™‚ But still, it’s important, so I’m putting it down.
  2. Practice Spanish every day– Honestly I doubt I will do this. But since I need to try, I’m going to *attempt* to do Duolingo every day! Of course, I have Spanish class also, but I want to do this πŸ™‚

b l o g g i n g

  1. Blog every Monday and Friday (nine times)-Β I pretty much have to do this soo
  2. Send out emails on Thursday four times– I’m confident about this, but I need to do it so it’s a goal πŸ˜‚
  3. Post four episodes (at least) on Christina’s Convos-Β This is going to be hard because I need to schedule them ahead, but I’m hoping that I can do this!
  4. Get ahead with blogging– I feel like I’m running in a hamster wheel thingy- I get ahead and then I’m behind again. This month, I really want to actually get REALLY ahead and stay ahead πŸ˜‰
  5. Do (some of) Maggie’s April Blogging Challenge Maggie is hosting an April blogging challenge, and I’m super excited about it! I know I’m not going to be able to do all of the challenges, but I will try to do some of them πŸ™‚ I may end up doing all the challenges for each week in one post, but that’s okay.Β

  1. Good luck with your goals! I’m doing NaNo too, but I’m literally just writing as I go along. My goal is only 5,000 words…. I did well today, which is good because I’ll likely skip some days haha. I want to join Maggie’s challenge for some days, but hopefully I’m not putting on too much…

    1. Thanks, Arabella! I think we’re in the same cabin. My goal is 5K words too… not much but it’s what I can do so I’m okay with it! I’m going to do it once a week with all the challenges in one post, so if you want to do that too you could πŸ™‚

      1. πŸ˜€ I am also starting a novel with Maria, plus I’m super busy, so even though I have a lot written, I’ll be extremely busy this month and won’t get to write every day. Thanks for the tip! πŸ™‚

      2. Yeah! School can make up most of my time, haha! I’m starting track next week, which meets Tues-Thurs most weeks until the end of May. Luckily we have April break right in the middle!

      3. Yeah, I guess I might have a little more time because I do online school. Cool, you do track? I’ve always wanted to but I don’t really have any opportunities soo…

  3. Oh I forgot this in my last comment, I was curious as to how you do your graphics ad what they all look life, I’d love to start into doing graphics, but I’m a little bewildered as to where to start- any recommendations?

    1. Do you mean the divider/intro? I actually didn’t make the dividers πŸ˜‚, Mukta over at {https://piquestudios.com/} did! However, I think probably she used a black/white divider graphic and did a colored overlay (google tutorials, because I am not good at teaching things like this πŸ˜‚, but the Well, Hello graphic I made in befunky (a design program that is free online). I would reccomend canva or befunky because they are SO easy to use, and honestly just experiment! It’s okay if it doesn’t work the first time, that is how I learned πŸ™‚ Also, I would match the background of the graphic to the background of the post (in my case, white) so that it blends in more.
Sorry for such a long answer, and thank you for asking ❀

  4. Aaaaah good luck!! I just stumbled across your blog so these goals are all new to me. Do you have an Etsy store or a part time job? Also do you have a mailing list? I’d like some emails please πŸ˜‚ ALSO also, I always use the laughing emoji so you’re not alone and I’m pretty sure everyone crickets when I use them but whatever. And omg you have a podcast?! I’m going to binge your posts once I find time!! Yess I need to work out and drink water more too. Btw tmi but today I drank a lot of water and for the first time had to use the washroom at school (this rarely happens because I can hold it easily) but hey there’s some water progress right there πŸ˜‚ and I did cardio this morning yaay. Wish you the best for April!!

  5. This was an awesome read 😊. It’s always good to keep up to date on what you need to work on and I loved your goals. My goal for this year is write seven times in both of my blogs and it’s been coming along well. Some days challenging but I just try to stay focused. When it comes to you making a certain amount of money, do you mean like save $50 or make that amount? If so is it through a job you have?

    1. Thank you! I agree πŸ™‚ Great job! Yes, I know what you mean. Well, I would love to save it all but that’s they amount I want to earn. Not a lot but I wanted to give myself a really achievable goal πŸ™‚ I mostly just babysit at this point!
